Hurt duck toe, I need help!

I noticed my duckling was bleeding a bit and saw his toe is very swollen. There is a small cut on it also. He doesn't seem to be in any pain because he is not limping and is still eating and drinking, maybe just moving a little slower. Perhaps he is hiding the pain? I can post a picture if needed. Please help me I'm not sure what to do!
