I would give her as much time floating in lukewarm water - supervised - as possible to take weight off, increase circulation and build muscle strength.

Another. Update..getting better all the time..now regularly using the leg. But now doing this weird thing where her tail tucks underneath her..and she swims so awkwardly..the tail thing is actually preventing her from standing correctly..not sure why I'm unable to post pictures..

Is she getting vitamin supplements, especially Bs?

I have been giving a vitamin/electrolyte supplement since this started.

It sounds like nerve damage, but I can only guess. I would keep giving her supplements and water time (supervised). I wonder if vitamin E might help?
