hurt foot or something else?

Charlie is doing much better, but wondering if I have to worry about too much vitamin? He gets around great the one foot curls inward and causes little bit of zig zag in his or he run, will it be like that from now on, just curious wanting to know if it would hinder his ability to mingle back in with flock, otherwise I will have to fix a more permanent housing.
If you are using the Super Bs, there is no worry. They are water soluble and leave the body readily, it's the Es, A and other fat soluble ones that can cause toxicity. What are you giving him right now? Just the complex? Poultry vites as well? Give us the list and it can be firgured out for you.

As for it getting 100% better....who knows. If he is moving around and continues to do so then he/she is going to figure out the legs and feet quite readily. I have ducks that walked on their feet, left foot onto right foot, and they have learned how to walk correctly or some have learned to compensate and run with the others. Just curious, have you tried wrapping the curled foot with vet wrap to keep it straight? Would you be able to do this?
He/she chirps so much like a little baby from being alone especially at night, I done want to stress him with giving him a bunk buddy if its just going to cause bullying
Is there anyway you can put him close to the others? I use clear totes for this kind of stuff so everyone can see each other and placement in the group isn't lost. Dog Crate, if they are in their coop already, works great.

I have typed this three times, I hope my phone doesn't lose it this time. Its New and im still learning it.
Tractor supply only had electrolytes so i went by pet supply and found vita-sol for all birds, its an 8 in 1 I didn't know vitamins could be toxic :( where do you find super B's? The stuff I got goes in water too.
I made a newbie mistake thinking a few weeks apart wouldn't affect the order of things, gosh I was wrong, the two other younger ones besides Charlie, I put in coop. The older one plucked their heads and neck bald in an hour :( brought them back in put blu-kote on them. I have wire now to section off part of coop for them. But in the mean time Charlie is still alone, cause the other little ones starting pecking him. I feel like im failing at this chicken mama thing.

I don't think your failing, just leaning along the way.

I certainly learned a few lessons the hard way. If you have a smaller one that is pecking Charlie, them you could remove that one bird, brings them down a peg or two when they return to their group. A day separated should help more than taking Charlie away from the rest again.

Charlie has been alone for 2 weeks and he is getting more needy as he has gotten his strength back. So I was thinking I could let him/her bunk with my sweetest, never pecked anyone, speedy is 4 weeks older. Of course only once I get little pen set up in coop. Would one week be long enough as long as others could see thru fence? Don't want anymore baldness or worse from my meanies. There are a few that will do anything to intimidate others, even if they are already running from them. Its just to aggressive for me to watch, is it just pecking order? When they were put in coop, first night one of the smallest were pecked in head til big bloody spot, but is was cocky little sucker. I cleaned it up blue koted it, few days later put him back in and he stopped bucking up at others and they seem better just occasional peck in head now. I have since added additional things to coop and run to avoid boredom, maybe that has helped also.

A week should be ok. I have only joined flocks a couple of times, always different sized and aged birds.

I try get them to see each other for a few days/week, then give them open space time together for a while (hour or more a day for a couple of days)

Some people stick teh new birds on the roost at night, so they wake up in the morning and are like "Oh hey, yeah I live here now" but I have only let them in during the day so I can watch them, make sure none of the bigger birds get too rough. By too rough, I let anything go up to bleeding, then I separate. I remove the meanie for some time out, and leave the less dominant with the flock. I have only had to use short breaks of an hour to calm the meanie down, but I have read that it can take a day or so away from the flock for them to become the 'new bird on the block' when they come back in.

X's 2!!!! I had to do that today myself. Different situation but same reasons.

It actually, at least in my experience, can take up to a week to lose their place in the flock. That's why I threw, yes, I'm embarrased to say I really threw 5 birds into a dog crate today. Don't worry...they weren't hurt, but they knew I meant business. They are the ones practising cannibalism on the other birds. I thought I was home free after doing this but didn't work out that way....I lost another bird this afternoon, so I know there's at least one more who needs to lose their place in line. Can someone please explain to me why I signed up for this???? This bring the death total up to around 15 between cocci and cannibalism. To be honest, I don't want hard numbers right now.... I am so not having fun yet.....

Something that worked really well for me in the past....I have what was supposed to be a brooding room in my chicken house. The door is made with wood frame and chicken wire so they can see each other. When the older birds are outside ranging, I also let the younger ones into the room and outside pen that the older birds have. By the time they are old enough to share the same space, they know each other well, through sight and smell and I have no problems. Might not work for all, but it does here.

It would be easier for me to remove aggressive ones, and if they fight at least they are the same size and could defend themselves. Thank you for the advice. Haunted55, where do you find super B complex? Tractor supply and the pet supply stores don't have it. The stuff I have been giving is an 8 in 1 and Im worried about the toxins you were speaking of.
