hurt foot or something else?

i thought it was just their voices changing from baby chicks noises but with sneezing and getting snot on lol thought I should ask more experienced people what their thoughts were, im such a newbie and maybe over worried but wanna be safer then sorry later. My pets not food so im such a mommy to them.

I cant thank you all enough for all the advice and friendship that has been shown to me. Update on Charlie he is standing more upright but still not much more use of the one leg. I think he is a fighter and his food dish has been emptied since I left for work this morning :)

That's a good sign.

I was reading a thread from Nambroth a while back, she said she found a vet who could test for MD through a blood sample. I am not sure if you have those facilities available close by.

Normally, the bird needs to have a necropsy done to be certain if it is or is not MD, but I found it interesting to read that someone was doing live testing.

Hope the little guy turns the corner and comes good for you.

As the other person asked, have you wormed them at all? A good worming treatment won't hurt the rest of the flock.

I can't offer much on the sneezing or runny noses, I have never had that issue. Lots to read about with respiratory illness on here though.

Good luck

So glad to hear that Charlie is starting to improve!! Sending healing vibes your way!

Thanks for healing thoughts, came home to Charlie putting more weight on leg today. I thinking vitamins are helping thank you so much for helping
Should I be giving all the birds vitamin B? The three youngest are not getting any extra treats, should they be? Last ones on starter feed. Its so good to see Charlie walking a bit wobbly but getting better. Still boney breast bone keep going with scramble eggs, does he need grit with that? Outside birds get it already.

The B Comples vitamins are a good thing. If your flock isn't having problems like Charlie, it still wouldn't hurt to add one a week to their water. I am so glad to hear he's doing better! Please keep this thread up to date with progress or not.
