hurt foot

I have a baby BO about 5 weeks old that has a bruised foot. got it caught under a 2x4 this morning my fault. spent the day with all the others but limping. should i let her be or put her in a separate cage i guess she is eating, drinking and pooing ok

If it is not broken I am sure she will be fine as is. One of my chicks broke a leg and I made a cast and it didn't take long to heal so I am sure a sprain would take less.

I'd put her in a separate cage with lots of really soft bedding to take some of the pressure off. If you can find a cage that it can't move around in much it will rest its feet more. Also make sure everything is clean underfoot in case there is any small cuts or anything that could get infected
