Hurt hen not laying

Hey guys,

I've got 4 leghorns and 2 australorp hens. One of the leghorns was getting pecked pretty bad by the others so I separated her and sprayed blu-kote on her wounds. She's been isolated for about 2 weeks now and hasn't payed any eggs. Is this normal?

A hen that has been stressed will often stop producing eggs, yes. Both the pecking and the subsequent isolation can be stressors to them.

Thanks for your reply, I'll give her some time to heal then re-introduce her to the flock.
