Hurt rooster

My Brown Leghorn rooster received a pretty vicious hammering from my Araucana rooster yesterday, but although his wattles were badly bloodied (such that there were blood smears in the coop, on a hen's back, and all down his breast and neck) I didn't see any other wounds. But he looked stiff this morning and he's spent most of to-day perching on a roost looking miserable. Is he just feeling sore and unhappy, or is there a possibility of internal injury?

Chances are he is just sore. Yes, the wattles and combs really bleed a lot. I'm sure his pride is hurt too! Just make sure he is eating and drinking. Try giving him some scrambled eggs. For extra energy.
