Good for you to answer the call to a more simple living. My husband isn't "a typical" city guy, I just tease. He doesn't know much about the chickens and such though and I have to educate him. We would like to have a couple of llamas for the fiber and a couple of Jersey cows for their milk to make cheese and butter and such. Unfortunately, our barn fell down a couple of years after we moved here from improper care. It was a big dairy barn, and we don't need anything quite like that, but we do need one. Right now we are working on getting the brooder house finished to get the chicks out of the basement.
