I can only do novel chapters. Six kids, 4 stepkids, 4 other stepkids, 28 gkids. I give them the long version. LOL

Well with family I would too. I really don't know the OP from pixie dust, except for here and she has always been very helpful. So I kept it short. Do I have more to say? yeah and I always will!

I love you too my dear. I just hope the OP can work this out and NOT jump into a relationship at this point. Or change her beliefs to fit so she has company.

Wayne was a Creationist and he and I were together 11 years. I just learned it was a topic not to bring up. His father was a Lutheran minister and the house used to be used for services for his small congregation. Obviously if Wayne felt I was a danger to his immortal soul or if God was unhappy with me being in the house, he wouldn't have had me move in or married me.

My own personal take on religion is that ALL are basically the same. There have been enough things that have happened to me that I believe that there is a higher force out there and it's someone's personal choice to call that force God, Allah, Ahura Mazda, Ashur, Odin, Vishnu, Manitou, Tonka Wakon, Tonatiu, Amon, Jupiter, Zeus or any other number of names I have missed out there. I believe more in being a good person.

I am so sorry you have had to defend yourself about a new relationship, your daughter and now religion! Americans have a very difficult time with difference. I find your honesty refreshing. Do not be discouraged by some folks on here who hold themselves and their way of life in obvious high regard.

Thank you.

Well, he and I were supposed to meet after work, but he called and left a message that his nephew was sick and he had to watch him and "God intervened" so I take it he wants nothing more to do with me.

I'm a little more insulted than hurt but there's nothing I can do about it. So ...

oh honey; dont read into it...he may have meant God intervened to where he could take care of his nephew???

I dont know hon..but please please dont get down about it!!! I'm sorry; thats all I can say!!

I'm with Debiraymond on this one. When you least expect it, love will find you.

It's early yet, there are lots of things you can do to occupy your time. Ride horses with your daughter, take her to a movie or bowling.

I personally would take this time to spend with your daughter and get to know her. I'm sure she is just busting at the seems to offer you all the love that she has to give, and trust me, that is PURE and TRUE love!
