Can someone explain this to me? We don't have $45 for me to rent a tiller for the garden TO FEED OUR FAMILY. But we have $400 to go buy a topper for a truck we hardly use. I don't understand how this adds up.
Do we have the same husband? I call it fuzzy math.
Mine can also have $50 in his pocket and 3 hours later it's gone, and he has no idea where he spent it or on what. Oh and mine keeps using his debit card till it gets denied, and by then he's already overdrawn. He thinks if it worked it means he still had money in the bank. He can never even give you a ballpark figure of his account balance because he doesn't keep track at all.
Needless to say we don't share a bank account and any money we use to pay bills is in an account he doesn't have access to.
My husband was like that. He couldn't understand why he was getting overdraft charges on his debit card. "Well they approved it!" he would defend himself.
"Why wouldn't they?" I rant. "They are making a ton of easy money off you in fees!"
