I dont get to work to get money. I am a stay at home mom.
I get to eat peanut butter sandwiches every day and he complains if he has to pack his lunch

We just got a nice tax return and he says he wants to buy a $500 hand gun (that he will take the shooting range 1x and then maybe shoot it 1 more time in the next 10 years

I say 'oh thats fine but I would like $500 too'
Boy, the look he gave me..

I feel like I popped out two babies (2 dependents) and dont get a chance to work for any spending money I should be entitled to some of the tax return, right?

I agree Sarah, it sounds like our husbands are cut from the same cloth. You're darn tootin' you earned that money, and really $500 is not a lot to ask for.

DH has almost got my garden completely finished with an ancient rototiller he got off cl for 30 bucks! I love him! He is the one with the job, I dont work outside of the home. I am truly lucky!

What a crock. That is NOT HIS MONEY. It is the family money. Sit down and write up a bill for your "services rendered" It will be for quite a large amount, trust me.

I just cannot understand men who feel the money is theirs. Sheesh. I think I'd be tempted to use his gun............on him. Maybe a knee cap

A nice refreshing Ahhhh for me! lol
I LOOOOOVE to list the things I do and how much it would cost him if he had to hire someone to do it.
Now, since he doesnt want to hear about it, Im making him partake in it.
