Husband thinks Snickers is a rooster

We are new chicken owners. We picked up our barnyard mix chicken from a local guy. We were told "Snickers" is a pullet. My husband has said she might be a rooster. She does have a dominant personality. Her comb and wattles have started deepening in color this past week. I thought she was just getting over feeling puny but is something like that caused by hormones? There's no crowing going on. Not sure of age, we picked up a group and were told that they were 8 weeks old but Snickers and a dominecker were a lot larger than the rest of the group. We added 2 cockerels Aug 1 and have since removed the one (dr. peckers) who was chasing Snickers and the dominecker all over the run to his own coop and run. The other cockerel (hawkeye) who started crowing later then peckers doesn't bother anybody. So, do you think Snickers is a hen or a rooster?

Yes, that's Hawkeye. He is crowing, well trying to crow, he sounds a little weak compared to his brother. Oh man, I don't know what I'm going to do now.

As a husband myself, I can confidently say that in this case, just like in every other case, the husband is right!
