HUSBANDS!!!! The non-annoying ones thread!

Aw you know, DH can really get my goat sometimes, and he has his fair share of annoying moments. But he is so darn perfect. I have to rant about him sometimes, but I like to rave as well. I tell most people that he is my better half, because he really is. I am the spiteful, mean spirited, sharp tongued one, and while he is equally quick to react (and soverreact) he is MUCH nicer than I am and reminds me to not judge others too harshly.
He takes time out of his own crop planting and harvesting as well as his angus raising to make sure that my garden is ready in the spring and wont let me dig a posthole EVER even if I said I wanted to. He also took my kids in as his own and tells people that they are his. They dont know their real dad and were 2&3 when DH and I married. He is such a great dad and husband. He and I have the same sense of humor, so we do rag on each other quite a bit...just for laughs tho

My husband has supported me no matter what. He doesnt buy stuff for me, he just takes me to the store, antique shops, farmers markets, quilting shops and feed stores. He just says "whatever you want". He loves to build things and will get everything started if he can get a day off that we are not having a thunder storm. We moved to Tennessee about 6 months ago and just this week, he insisted we get a bird feeder and pulled out the bird books and spends time sitting patiently waiting for the birds to come. It is so awesome to have a husband that loves nature and wants to spend time with me and our son. After over 10 years I still love him so much and best of all, he treats me like a lady even when I dont act like one. He is amazing!! God Bless the husbands.
 
There are great husband's out there. But, sometimes our society doesn't teach us how to recognize them!

My hubby is also his first wife's cast off. Every day I am SO grateful to her for being so short sighted!

He's a wonderful man and a fabulous father. He takes such good care of all of us. He is WAY nicer than I am yet he manages to put up with me!
 
Oh man, where do I even start. I know I've used this forum to complain about my husband in the past, but I also can't say enough good things about him. He's a true renaissance man who can do EVERYTHING I need, and I mean everything. When I was younger, I thought I wanted a skinny art boy for a husband, but the guy I got, he knows how to hang a painting and build a chicken coop. What would I be doing right now if I had a good for nothing art boy? I would have had to pay for a built chicken coop, that's what.

I could go on, but I'll just stop by saying he's really the best.
 
Here is mine! We have been married for 23 years and have definitely been through some rough times. He is my soul mate and best friend!

What a great thread!!!! My pet peeve is women who complain about their husbands all the time. It's so refreshing to see them raved about.

My husband is my best friend. When he has to travel on business occasionally, I just mope because I have no one to share our inside jokes with. We have been married 10 years and been through the requisite better and worse, richer and poorer, and sickness and health. We have weathered some storms together and are closer because we had each other to lean on. I thank God for giving the perfect man for me.

I'd write more but we always have our afternoon coffee together. It's about time to get it brewed up and go sit under the lilacs with my sweetie.
