If I get a large husky will it deter coyotes and other Predators like racoon from my yard. I have chicken but they are safe more worried about my small dog.

Why a Husky? They have a strong prey drive, very high energy and generally if let off lead will run away/roam. I've also heard that they are usually stubborn and hard to train. Beautiful dogs though.

I have a friend who trains puppies and she has a husky, I thought the wolf if the husky would help deter yotes

As an owner of 3 beautiful, intelligent Siberian Huskies I would not look to the breed to protect my flock. I would be afraid they would see them as prey like they do rabbits, cats and other small animals. You might be ok if you get a very young pup and work with it. They are not stubborn or hard to train. They are pack dogs who love to run, there for if they are taught you and your family are above them in the pack they train well. Of you have a farm where they have room to roam they can be trained to stay close, but must be done from a young age.
