New to chickens. Why can’t hybrid chickens be in “shows”?

The same reason any other mixed breed (mutt) animals can't be shown...no breed standards.
Without a breed standard, there's nothing to judge for.

Hello! Because they are not recognized breeds so there is no Standard of Perfection by which to judge them would be my guess. Unless a breed is recognized by the American Poultry Association (in the US-I have no idea how it works elsewhere) it isn’t technically a breed. Kind of like dogs and the AKC. You can’t show a doodle but you could show a standard poodle because the later is a recognized breed with an SOP.
