Hello, I’ve been giving hydro hen to my baby chicks and I noticed that is says to discard any unused product after 24 hours.
I was just wondering if anyone knows why that is?

It's out of an abundance of caution - the mixture contains a sweetener of some kind, and if any bacteria/yeasts/etc came into contact with it, it could proliferate. Maybe not enough to cause illness, but perhaps enough to alter the product from its intended purpose. Would you drink a glass of orange juice after it had been setting out at room temp for 24 hours? And of course, it gets you to buy more product Always do the math, and scale down to what you'll actually use in that 24 hour period.
