Anyone ever have a hyper chicken? Or one that sort of spazes out? Is constantly darting and dashing too and fro? Extremely active. Like a live wire? Lol

She's an EE pullet, 25 weeks but she's always been this way. Like she's nuts lol and she's the only one acting this way.

It does look like zoomies but near constant. No idea on vision? She eats from feeder and at times will scoop it out as she flashes backwards around it , dash to another, then come back and eat off ground.

She is laying ok
As long as she's normal other than that, I wouldn't worry

I was also just curious if anyone else had any similar? Lol
So... I have an Easter Egger that gets the zoomies quite often. She's lower on the pecking order but seems to kind of go crazy often running around and attracting attention to herself. Thankfully, she's very fast and once she's done with her burst of energy, the other loose interest. It's super random. No one will be paying attention to her and the all of a sudden she'll run around like crazy in many different directions. And then just chill out.

I'm really interested in why @nuthatched asked about your girl's vision. Mainly because my girl does have some signs she had vision issues. For example, if I drop treats on the ground, all the girl's grab them right up but she pecks everywhere BUT the actual treat. And she can't seem to grab a blade of grass when its in front of her face like the others. Almost like she needs reading glasses?

Edited to add my girl is also a pullet and she's about 21 weeks old.

For my guy, he has feathers in his face, as Polish do. When his "bangs" as I call them cover his field of vision, random things seem to set off the running around behavior. Like a chicken touching him, or sometimes I think it is a fly that sets him off. He will also come and stand next to me/lean against my leg, but will react like the had no idea I was there when I touch his back.

So it's not necessarily zoomies but more like he's startled?
