Hyper sexuell rooster

I`ve a bad problem with one of my Indio Gigante Roosters: he lives with three Hint Horoz heńs in a Coop. He `s absolut hyper so the hens don`t want to go out of the Coop. What can I do ? Normaly he`s absolut friendly and calm
Somebody an idea ???

How old is he? If he's young he may be starting to mature

1-3 seems like a rather low ratio of hens, especially for a young cockerel.

Roosters can mate quite a few hens, so with only three hens they might get overmated. You could try separating the rooster to give the hens a break or get more hens. Some roosters are more aggressive than others, so if it continues to be an issue you might try a different rooster. Good luck to you!

Good morning yes i think i have to buy more hens He is 6 month old and normaly a real nice rooster. Tomorrow afternoon i 'll meet a breed for hint hens . Do you think two more will be ok ?

6 month old cockerels are VERY hypersexual! He will likely calm down as he gets older, but more hens will definitely help.

He might be fine with 5 hens. He might need more. The suggested number is 10 hens for a rooster, but every bird is different.

oki i'm afraid, we need more ladys until i get some more i'll put him on his own so he can see the hens but can't reech them

I don't have a lot of experience with them personally yet, but everyone says that cockerels experiencing chicken-puberty go into hyperdrive for a while.
