Is there such a thing as a breed of chicken that is Hypo allergenic. i just got tested for allergies , skin, and blood and I'm only allergic to one thing: feathers! :(

No! But all feathers? Ask the allergist if they can differentiate species, or if they only test for chicken feather allergy. It might be possible to enjoy your chickens, not at face level ever, and wearing a face mask in the coop. Mary

Hope for you in the future, maybe? Funky looking, aren't they?

featherless chickens! wow! We only have 3 adul hens. Then I had my first asthma attack after gettng 6 (six) 9 week olds! They had a lot of dander and were sick. I kept holding them up close to my face. big mistake! :(My hb took 4 back, we r trying to keep 2. I'm keeping them away from my face now. :( Mask is good idea.

You could always get say 6 roosters for your hens. In about a month the hens won't have any feathers left on them and you could get rid of the roosters. Lol
