Hypothetical Q

Commercial eggs are stored at 45 degree F. A home refrigerator normally is set to cool at 34 - 38 degrees. It is a different enviroment than your store eggs. I think cooling the eggs at the lower temps will be far less likely to produce a viable embryo.

Well heck just to cover all the bases.....shake the snot out of them, fridgerate them to 34 degrees for 2 weeks then stick them in the microwave for 20 seconds. Who wants to try the first dozen to see if any hatch? LOL

It was just a hypothetical question! I have raised and shown Akitas for over 20 years. Have many Champions and International Champions to my credit and my lines and kennel are known world wide. In Akitas if i am selling a pup for breeding it first off has to be show quality and it must be shown. The buyer has to pass a background examination with references etc. They also are required to sign an enforceable contract stating they will not breed and sell to puppy mills or to others who do so etc. My pet quality pups are all on contract to be spayed or neutered with stiff penalties if not adhered to thus effectively preventing taking my less expensive puppy and trying to breed it to start their own lines. This is just an example of how i do it in the world of AKitas. Thanks
