Sounds like you have some great grandkids; you'll have to reward them with lots of eggs and egg dishes when your chicks get old enough to lay!

While many folks here are adept at identifying baby chicks from photos and descriptions, I am not, so no help from me on that. But I've had a Rhode Island Red, and she was an absolute delight.
