yeah, that's a common mistake. Your chickens are just moody because you replaced their equivalent of Mc Donalds cheeseburgers and lollipops with the equivalent of broccoli and carrots. They'll get over it and a day or two refusing to eat won't hurt them at all.

If they still won't eat in a day or two, you can try something else.

They are used to eating treats. Now you are giving them a healthier meal, they will be unhappy for a bit, but will get past it. Just stick with the better food and they'll adjust.

I would suggest maybe mixing some of the scratch grains with the complete feed and see if they'll eat that. Then lessen the amount of scratch every day over a week or so until it is nothing but the complete feed.

I also had success mixing the feed with water. I don't know why but they would come running and gobble the feed mixed with water versus just plain dry feed
