I woke up on this Mother’s Day morning asking my husband to go look in the brooder tent because I didn’t want to see Cady passed (hubby grew up on a farm soIsn't it amazing how easy it is to become attached to the little ones? I hope Cady pulls through, but it's not unusual to lose very young babies through no fault of your own.
I enjoyed looking at the photos of the celebs and their namesake chicks. Very creative.
However, when you say you got your "final three" chicks, I'm not sure you understand chicken math. I have gotten my "final" chicks more times than I can count.

I woke up on this Mother’s Day morning and asked my husband to go check the brooder because I didn’t want to see Cady passed (hubby grew up on a farm so he sees animal deaths as a part of life, but I am brand new to this and get attached to every one) but to our surprise she was on top of the brooder plate leaning on one of her siblings — I’m still super worried because she’s just DIFFERENT from the others (walks strange, pecks at the rim of the feeder but misses the food often, doesn’t play, sleeps a LOT) but grateful she made it through the night. She’s taking the electrolytes fairly well!Welcome to BYC, Jo. Try giving Cady some electrolytes. You may have to use a dropper, and just drop a single drop onto her beak. Best of luck with your chicks!
This is a big Lana-loving household, so inevitably we’ll end up with a Lana haha!this post is a dream. I especially love the Gaga and Julia Fox chicks.But I think you might need a Lana Del Ray in the future. congrats on your flock! I’m so sorry about Cady!
