So my hen hatched 6 chicks 2 died I now have 4 almost 3 week old chicks any idea what they may be pullet or cockerel? This is my rooster not sure of his breed can any one help me with that as well I bought him from the local feed store

You're rooster appears to be some strain of American Gamefowl. Or a Gamefowl mix of some sort.

How old is he?

If he's human aggressive, it's inheritable from father to son, daughter, or mother to son, & so on. So, I'd keep an eye on his offspring when they get older.


They're feisty, so if he gets too aggressive towards your other cocks, you may have to pen, or tether him.
