I’m new, I don’t know what to do

Hello, and welcome! I'm here in AZ. also. When it get's real hot, make sure that there is lot's of pan's of water out there and that there is shade. They will stand in the water that help's them to cool off, so make sure that you keep it clean every day. You can also add some chunk's of ice to some of the water, it will cool it off a bit during the hottest part of the day. The ice will not take long to melt though one the temperature's get up to 116 degrees-F. You are welcome to chat with some of the other AZ. member's in our state thread that you can find here:

as of now thankfully on the exterior of my coop there’s the vented shade screens so that helps. But it’s always a work in progress. Time to expand a little. Lost one to a hawk yesterday during their free ranging time. Ice is wonderful! I’ve been using the larger frozen water bottles too :)
