I’m new to the duck scene. Need some advice please.

That video makes it look a little more difficult than the others. What kind of lubricant should I use?
It is more difficult on smaller ones. The other videos are good, but none of them explain about quantities to give. In fact, both the duck ones show the ducks getting 60 ml, which is too much for your duck. They also don't mention that hypothermia and dehydration should be corrected first.
For a lubricant, I usually just use water.

I’ll take a video and post it. She’s almost constantly drinking. The vet that saw her seemed to be more concerned about getting to eat his lunch than seeing about my baby. He almost seemed bothered. He didn’t specify what they fed her. The did check her poop and said it was bad diarrhea. She has been snuggling up to all of us including the dogs. She is very affectionate and loves attention. She’s been staying in a dog kennel at night. We cleaned it real good before putting her in it. We also piled a few blankets in there. I tried the scrambled eggs and she wouldn’t eat them. I’m about to go get some baby bird food. I’ll post the video as soon as I get back. Thanks y’all for all the support. This is an amazing group of people and I really appreciate everyone’s concern for our baby.
Not cool that the vet wasn't giving you his full attention :(
I know you have a lot going on right now and such good people here to help you. I'm not as experienced as everyone here...
I watched the videos you posted and it's very similar to what we experienced. Lethargic, sleeping/ closing her eyes a lot. Our duck also increased her water intake a lot also didn't poop much. When she did poop it was very dark and super smelly. She would eat treats sometimes too but mostly uninterested in food.
I don't usually like to give any advice when I'm not totally sure but felt the need to share our experience here in case it helps.

That's funny about him turning out to be a her we had samething with ours we thought it was Donald but it became Donna after laying her egg. Is she sounding congested or breathes with her beak wide open by chance? Ours got that while we had wet cold weather I had to use antibiotics and she got all better. Also I use apple cider vinegar in her water once a week. I hope you get it figured out and she feels better.

I was able to tube her. She’s got 30 cc’s of pedialyte in her now. She’s standing there going to sleep it appears. I used vegetable oil to lubricate. Waiting to see some poop now
:highfive: Good job! Repeat in 60 minutes, and keep her warm.
