Hi! I’m Sarah and I am starting my chicken mama journey this spring. My youngest daughter (11 years old) has wanted chickens for 4 years and we finally convinced her dad to do it this year! 
Her favorite chicken is the silkie frizzle so we are getting a few of those and some colored layers. We found someone local on Marketplace hatching many organic varieties and we pick them up in the next week! We are a homeschool family and look forward to adding this into the real life education experience. We also love to garden and spend a lot of time outside. (especially when it’s 
!! Sun is my favorite season! 
) I look forward to learning and growing in this community!
