Ok so I’ve seen many videos and everyone who has a silkie chick has a fluffy one, mine on the other hand are not fluffy...I’m not sure they are fully silkies, yet they do have 5 fingers on each foot. Maybe they are not the fluffy silkie type? I’m not sure...Help!

Looks like silkies to me! They don't have proper feathering so your looking at the wing feathers which are smooth but stringy and the basic tail and rump feathers. Once ALL there feathers start to grow in they'll look like proper silkies :) id share baby photos of my own past awkward silkies but it's on another phone memory :"( either way Yes you have sillies lol theyre just not silkie yet

Here’s our silkie in a few different weeks. When her wing feathers started coming in, they didn’t look like what silkie feathers “look” like, but she’s definitely a walking puff ball now lol. It also kinda just looks like she still has her chick fluff, but it was a different color (more grey in places, and her feathers are black).

I was getting chickens one year- they had 80 breeds. I looked at the silkies, they were a bit older than the other birds, by a few weeks. I saw a lovely white silky, but she had poop on her. "no one will adopt her with poo." I thought. so I did. She was quickly out grown by the other birds. and I eventually gave her to a friend to brood chicks. She still has her, her name is Marilyn and she is 10 now.
