I agree. They've gotta be female at this point. The rose comb (etc) ones can be hard to tell but at three months they'd be showing their pretty plumage & maybe crowing, too. I have a couple SLB Wyandottes. They're standoffish but good layers (for me at least) and so pretty. I really like them.
Mine are quite distant too! My buff orpingtons are the sweetest!
