I’m pretty sure my coop is a pickle party

I’m new to chicken keeping... got a coop for Christmas and my chicks for Mother’s Day (new baby in March so wanted to wait a bit in the new chicks)... I got 5 from one of my kid’s kindergarten and 7 from a breeder. (12 in all, but 1 is a little special needs, so I’m weighing its fate) I’m only sure two are pullets and am 100% sure 3 are cockerels. Y’all already ruled my Blue Cooper Maran a cockerel.. so maybe you can help me find a Pullet this time!

#3 is a pullet. Did you get them all as chicks or were they older? Some of the redness and comb development might be then reaching point of lay. But that would only be if they were close to being four or five months old. If they are closer to two months then I'm afraid the rest are cockerels. I'm not good at telling gender by feathers unless it's super obvious. Someone else with more experience should chime in soon.

Number 3 and maybe your we look to be hens but the rest appear to be roos just my opinion

Then I'm a bit worried for how red and developed their combs are. #3 might be your only girl.

I went ahead and got more chicks this weekend, I’m hoping for better odds this time
