Hello everyone, my name Ana Nelson and my husband and I along with our 3 children decided to ditch the city and bought 10 acres in Washington state. Our goal is to self sustained and live of our land.
When we moved here the previous owners left us 9 chickens. So let’s start with that.
I do enjoy gardening a ton and raising apple orchards.
Imma homeschool Mama and want to raise hogs, turkeys and chickens.
My husband and I have been married 11 years as of this coming June. We were 16 and 19 when we got married.

I'm in Washington State, too (I'm way up in the northwest corner). I complete get your decision to "ditch the city." I so much prefer country living, and chickens, fruit trees, and a vegetable garden are the best place to start!
