I’m trying to identify what sex my pea cock is ???

Can anyone help me with identifying what sex my peacock is ? It is about 7 months old . It was in really bad shape when we got it .we are keeping it in a large dog crate. To give it a chance to stay calm and have the feathers come in full as cooler temps are coming. It seems to be easy to frighten .

So you just asked what sex is your male peafowl.

That aside, that does appear to be a java green hen.

You really need to get her into a larger pen, that cage is stressing her out and the wire will only make the tail worse. If she startles she can break her neck in such a limited ceiling.

It's a bird ... and a bird is flying ... this spalding will not be happy in this rabbit cage!
The feathers of the tail do not have a lot of welts zebra ... other pics are needed to say sex!
