So when do I have to separate him from the girls??
You don't have to separate them as long as the hens don't sit on the eggs to try and hatch them fertile eggs are fine to eat.

So when do I have to separate him from the girls??
you don't have to wait it's a cockerel.Wait until when??!!!
I’m not even allowed to have chickens in my yard let alone a rooster!!!Until he crows, but Ol Grey Mare is right he's definitely a rooster. You could check the laws in your area on keeping roosters if you want to try and keep him.
It is definitely a cockerel. So sorry!![]()
But then he can live with the girls??this is the only way..i don't care for it but its an option...![]()
No crow collars don’t completely stop them from crowing. They still do but it’s dampened a bit. Keep in mind with and without the collar, roosters are still roosters. They will bite. They will scratch. They will attack. These collars do not take away the testosteroneBut then he can live with the girls??
That just restricts him from crowing as much. He will start to mount the girls soon if that was your question. about 12 to 15 weeks. But then he can live with the girls??
