I'm so sorry for your loss. You didn't do it on purpose, but I know hearing that does not ease your pain.
Mr. Swift would be grateful that you nursed him back to health as a youngster and for the good life he got.
it was a terrible accident, and that you ended it quickly, well you did right by him then too.

Oh my! I am so very sorry for your loss. Freak accidents seem to happen more than we think. Just so sorry that it happened to your precious pheasant. (I just love pheasants) Hope you can heal quickly.

Wow, so sorry! What a horrible accident. Things like this can happen. I always worry about my goofy Labradors who are always jumping around. You were able to give him a good life so far. RIP Swifty.

Perhaps I am taking this totally out of context and apologize if this is the case, but someone is grieving a beloved animal and the only response 794 had was to ask about permits. I thought perhaps i had missed previous interaction between the two leading to 794's question. It just seemed a bit odd to me is all.
