i'm so sorry you lost her. it might be hard for the other girls to not have her anymore. keep caring for the two you still have, and remember you made her happy for the time you had her. despite the fact that you didn't have her long, she will still be with you.

xxmrsbellxx So sorry you lost one. We rescued 6 girls last year and 2 were attacked and didn't make it but we still have the other 4. You did a really good thing for them.

I love that you took them in! We started our flock with five 5 yr old hens that we adopted from our zoo (where my husband and I work) when they closed down the petting zoo area. We love those old girls! We still get eggs from them too. Last week we got our first double yolker! Sorry for your loss on one girl. Hope your other girls adjust well. Best wishes.
