I adopted "Swedish Blue Ducks" from the local store, and they are Chinese Geese!!!

I acquired the goslings and decided to raise them in my backyard and planned to aquaint them with my friends property with many lakes. I have bonded with my giant geese and am unsure what I should do. They are huge! I am wondering if we should eat them or if there is anywhere I can release them to forage and thrive.

I definitely agree with you, I guess it is better if you can find a buyer instead.

If I were in your shoes and couldn't keep them I would try to find a good home for them.

See if you can find a buyer or see if a local waterowl rescue will take them and let someone adopt them.

IF you release them they will be eaten by predators, likely the first night. Its also illegal in most states to release domestic animals into the wild.
