I can totally relate! When I let my girls loose, they go wild...but then they realize there's only two small trees in that area of the yard. The ground is sandy clay. I bring them grape leaves and they go wild!

lol yeah. they have this gigantic backyard to run around in, but they usually just want to hang out under the deck and eat bugs. whatever!

My girls love raisins! They come running when my daughter shakes the box.

No these were the chooks I had in my big chicken coop. The coons got in my showgirl coop. You can see in my pic my Petey and my surviving showgirl hen. They all sleep together in the big girl coop now an they use the showgirl coop as a nesting box now

awwwww thats cool. i want/need a second coop so bad. DH is fighting me all the way on it. and i am expecting 3 babies under my broody the end of next week. i have 12 in a shed thats 10 X 12. gonna be 15. smaller birds - mostly RSL, but the 2 new Cochins are growing like weeds!
