I am a hen. What color and breed am I?

Do you know if I can mix colors and end up with something of decent quality? The silver hen and the golden duckwing?

I feel like it's Christmas. The lady who gave them to me was a complete stranger who showed up on the doorstep begging me to take her birds as she was moving to the city today and was going to have to butcher them.

My next question is whether or not the rooster's tail might have a chance at being pretty. He was born at the end of March? Is he always going to have a leghorn tail, or can he grow something a little longer?
