I am a serious greenhorn to backyard chickens, help!

I have three hens and one rooster, only two of the three hens are laying, one egg a day each. The third hen is larger than the other two which I believe to be bantams. She is a frizzle and will also crow like a rooster and she is not laying eggs, why? Also, when do I know if the eggs are fertilized or not? Thank you in advance for your help.

Well, my chickens are close to eleven weeks now, and though this website has a ton of helpful people who can guess the sex of your chicken, I've always said "the only way to what the gender is, is if it lays an egg or starts to crow"...

So i looked through my phone and lost the picture...

You can recognize a fertile egg because the actual egg (the one inside the yolk) has turned from a dot to a bullseye.

If you forum title search "bullseye?" I uploaded a picture, but my sd card filled this week and the original has been lost in translation.

Like the others said, how old is the frizzle and can you post a photo showing the head, especially any wattles and comb. A profile showing legs, posture, and configuration could be a big help. I'm not familiar with frizzles but a close-up of saddle and hackle feathers might be really informative. But if the chicken is crowing it is almost abolutely a male.

Or is there a chance the frizzle lays the same color eggs as another girl? I had a new layer once and t took awhile to realize because her eggs were virtually identical to another's. it wasn't until they both actually laid the same day that I was sure.
