I am adopting 3 full grown guinea hens - do I need a heat lamp?

Hello,

I am adopting 3 full grown guinea hens. We have built a nice off the ground coop for them and bought lots of hay to put inside. I know their previous owner had a heat lamp in her coop but it will be kind of difficult for us to do that. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure where you live but if we aren't talking Siberia you won't need a heat lamp for adults at all. Guinea are very tough just protect them from owls and you will be fine. p.s. They like to be as high as possible at night
