My two Buff Orphingtons are so bonded they chirp very loudly when they are apart....

and i have a fear this is a male. He/she is more aggressive and its comb and waddle are very large in comparison to the other... and considering it was hatched on Mar 1st....8 weeks old. Now this is the other buffy which i know is a female... Please tell me i have two females because i hate to separate them....

That's a cockarel and a pullet. I'm so sorry.

You don't have to get rid of him though (unless your city makes you). You can eat fertilized eggs and there are products on the markets to quiet a rooster's crow.

Hi Sophiaw00 What is the name of the product... I do live in the city of Portland and they don't allow roosters.

I have a sexlinked/red.......girl and she has wattles and a comb seven weeks old. She has a fluffy butt, cute little thing.
