I am back!

And this time I have another one to identify. If anyone remembers, or looks up my posts, the other chicken then I am glad to say that she is busy incubating her eggs! She must be a year old now or something and if the eggs are on schedule there are only 7 or 8 days left till they hatch!

Exciting, but I have no idea what breed the father of her babies is.
A different neighbor brought him over to our house because they couldn't keep him. See the daughter bought the chick thinking oh how adorable! And she didn't stop to think that well it might not turn out to be a hen. We took him in and after a week or so he adjusted to our group. He also took the hen previously mentioned as his favorite wife. XD

How do you call the markings on him? his whole body has specks of white-ish yellow.

Looks like a somewhat smutty Birchen color, because his wing tips look solid black to me. The speckles are just the result of mixed ancestry.

Actually, he has a Silver Duckwing Japanese Bantam look to him. He's crossed with something though.

Sweet, so the chicks his wifey is expecting have a decent chance to retain the silver duckwing color scheme. WOOT!

I am so excited! I just checked and one of the eggs has started pipping. x) This guy is gonna be a papa soon if everything goes well. Wish us luck! <3
