To clarify - I know the guy spent 20 years developing this project and that is a BIG FAT REWARD for all that hard work. But I think I wanna know how the heck that person affords that!!! The auction prior was ended at $675.

I know people who will pay $500. for a single fan of a new hybrid daylily so that they can grow their own & in a few years have many to sell.

If I could spend that much money on eggs, I'd be taking a road trip, too!!! Why make an investment like that just to take a chance on the USPS throwing it all out the window?
