Moving Grown Hens to New Coop

The coop has an air conditioner in it, in case needed, and a lot of ventilation. I am finishing it over the next week, and passive ventilation, not counting windows, will be 12-15 sq feet. Windows will add another 12.5 sq ft. I will also have two exhaust fans to pull air out on the peaks of each end, which will help pull air
You are way out of my level of coop. Whatever you decide to do it should work.

We’ve moved our Ladies to new coops, on the property. We free range daily, but kept them locked in for a 7-10 days just as a precaution. A few of them went to the old coop site the first time we let them out, but we herded them towards where the coop Roo was waiting outside the new coop. He called them in.
I think, if your coop and run are attached , you shouldn’t need to lock them in. They will explore the in and out of the coop during the day and make the home their own.

Thanks. I was hoping to get this finished up next week. Unfortunately, rain and storms may hamper that plan. Every phase has taken twice as long as expected with weather or other delays. I wanted to get new chicks by the end of July, But that's looking seriously iffy.
