I have 6 Plymouth rocks and I have been getting 9 or so eggs a day. They are now about 23-24 weeks old. Most eggs I get from them are normal but the other ones are soft and have no shell. I looked it up on google but I am not sure if it is right. Google said they are either maturing or being over feed. Maturing might be the cause but I don't think that I am over feeding my chickens. Any advice/tips or information can help me alot.

How long have they been laying?
What breed are they?
What all and how exactly are you feeding?

I'd guess you are getting 6 hard shelled eggs a day, and that hopefully it is a new layer glitch that should smooth out within a few weeks.

I believe it was Sunday when we got seven eggs then the next day we got 4 then 9. My chickens are eating layers feed, mealworms, grass and clovers and they do some digging so maybe some worms and bugs. Do you have time I would give them some kind of fruit to eat. I think that we got five hard eggs and four soft.
Wow! How long have they been laying? Are all of them laying? How often do you check the nest box?
Our first chicken started laying around 19-20 weeks, the other chickens took a couple weeks after to start. I believe all of my chickens are laying and I go outside about 10 to 20 times daily and I checked the nesting boxes then.

This feed is perfect.
I would stop feeding them everything else that you feed and only feed this bag of feed which is a complete balanced diet for them.

Every time you feed something other than this bag of feed you are taking away from them getting a balanced diet.
