i am hatchinh 32 rhode island red chicks and wondering

Hi, I was worried also, my eggs did not hatch until days 23,24,and 25. I have a still air and my daughter said I had it too high. So silly me I lowered it. Good Luck and do what they all told me to do. Sit on your hands.

day 23 and still nothing i dont know if they re going to hatch but if they do i will post it.

well yall they didnt hatch so i checked them they all were dead.

kevin, I'm really sorry. Beleive me I know how you feel if you read my post from yesterday. The best I can tell you is just move on and hope for a better hatch next time. When was the last time you candled them?

Any idea what happened? Did your temp or humidity go up or down?

temp got too high while i was at a track meet and when i got back the temp was realy high

well everyone i have decided to move on and try to hatch a few more eggs i put six mix bred eggs on to try and make sure i can hatch them instead of buying expensiv epure bred eggs they will be a mix between.

1. rooster barred rock
2. astralorps
1. white leghorn
1. rhode island red
