I am joining the "I hate my neighbors" group.....*LONG*

I have neighbors similar to that. People nowadays are raised to show no respect to anybody and that is the generation that is going to run this country one day? Good greaf! God help us all. I say this now...............................................

"TALL FENCES MAKE GREAT NEIGHBORS" this stands to be so true.

I'm definately in on the neighbor haters!!!!! My neighbors, whom I thought were friends, were told that we got chicks and they already started putting up a fence between our houses......cheeper for me - I didn't have to do it. They constantly blame my beagle for their dog's behavior! They won't even let their dog out saying my dog will entice their shepard to leave their yard. We have the underground fencing (which has been the best purchase we have ever made) keeps our dog in the yard....what's their problem?

Sometimes you can find a landlord that will take payments for the down payment. Maybe even be happy if the house is a fixer upper and you can help out.

My neighbors are great too...I hope it stays that way after we get our chikens. ANyway...I so got a visual in my head of your goat having a blast in this guys house and now that he was a jerk to you I'm happy he did. This women should have come and told you that your goat was following her rather then allowing it to come in the house! I mean how dumb do ya have to be!? It helps when your an animal lover and can understand the animal and realize that it's a natural thing for a goat to do. Mistakes happen and people have to realize that you have your animals and do your best with them BUT you can't always control them every minutes...that DOES NOT mean you are not taking care of them...like with the dogs...he says it's no life for the dogs...well, I don't agree with kennels either but what your describing is not what I picture as a bad life for a dog at all. They are loved and have room to roam around instead of being cooped up in a tiny kennel 24/7 with a bowl of food thrown in to them being the only human contact they get. PLUS I'm assuming you use the to keep larger animals from your chicken house as well. Well, I hope that once he's sober he will be more understanding.

Since all my neighbors are my children, I can't complain about neighbors, but before we moved up here we had a couple of doozies. My DH was pouring gas in the carb of the truck to get it started and it backfired on Him. He jumped back and poured the gas on him. caught fire and spend 10 months in Tampa Geneal 'sBurn Unit. My NICE neighbors were mowing their yard, so they cut off the mowers and watched him burn until the EMT's got there, then started up their mowers again went back to work.Oh well, now they are both dead and DH is doing fine.Every neighborhood had a blockhead,so you still have BYC, they don't even have us. So your better off, even if it doesn't seem like it.

you need to come up to Ohio, where Brenda family and my family live near the Pa border, the land/houses are dirt cheap here.
luckily i live between two old italian/ex military families and across from a nice jamaican lady who used to raise chickens back home.everybody gets called by their first names.

My neighbors "Drive me nutz" Out of 4 , 2 are evil.... 2 are only here during the spring and summer ( snowbirds) The one set of evils call the cops about everything. Our yards to messy. We have a couple trailers ( car haulers) with my hubbys race cars on them and another one with a hoist ( yes for cars, its a leftover from when we owned an autoshop) All have proper tags and we have them parked in a grove of pine in the side yard ( rather tough to see from the road) They complained about that. I always have a front yard full of kid stuff they complain about that lol . The other evils..... Live on a 10 acre parcel that is land locked unless we allow them a easement to get back to there property . The easement belongs to us we pay taxes on the land all they have is deeded right to pass. I guess they didnt know this and spent all kinds of money planting trees and such to make it pretty ( city people) but came over the other day complaining the chickens were on the drive. I nicely informed her the chickens may be on the easement to there hearts content due to it our property and calmly went into the house and got the deed to show them. Little to say they were shocked. LoL this same woman complained to the MDA about how my pens stank and I was starving my animals ( Yea right 70 bucks a week on critter food starving) So I do feel for you . For the most part people suck!!!!! stay strong
