I am getting 4 hens tomorrow from a lady that has artheris an is struggling to care for them they are roughly 4 years old I know that's older but no reason to not love them anyways. One of the hens have Ascites and she feels that it should be put down I will have to do this if absolutely necessary but I have a good heart so it's hard. I'd like to know if I can help her before that option though please any advice an tips would be greatly appreciated. It's a orpington. Apparently is still laying eggs but there soft an thin shelled.
