I am looking for some feedback on this breed for meat production????

I've raised both, and will continue to raise both. The crb's are tastier ( longer lives= more forage and mature flavor), but the cx are quicker and more readily available from multiple sources. My 'customers' are evenly split on which they like more. They say the crb's legs are 'more chewy', a result of much more activity. The crb hens lay alot of double yolkers if you keep em' long enough. This is a small outfit that only operates one or two days a week and only part of the year. I doubt very much that they get much business from "commercial producers".
