I am lost at this point!!

Hello, so a couple days ago I had brought a hen in for sneezing. It was recommended that I use vet Rx first, as there were no other symptoms of anything. She was fine for the last two days, this morning when I let everyone out I noticed her in a very dark corner and you could tell she was breathing heavy from the start. I checked for egg bound, I wasn't really sure what to be feeling for but it was a little harder than what I expected. She won't sit, eat, or drink. My husband said she was a little bit off last night when putting them into bed but he wasn't worried as she took a few meal worms from him. Should I treat for respiratory with antibiotics? I just don't want to run out of time and lose her as shes one of my two eater eggers and a complete sweetheart. I am in NY and the weather has been up and down like crazy and I also am wondering if that could play a roll?

Also I forgot to add that her comb is pale also, it's usually a very bright red.

When is the last time she laid an egg?
Did you notice if she has any bloat or fluid in the abdomen?
Crop - empty, full, doughy, watery, smelly, etc.?
How often is she sneezing?
Can you post some photos?
Is she pooping at all - what does that look like?

You felt inside the vent - it was harder than expected. Can you explain that a bit more?
How far inside did you feel (1-2")? The "hardness" was it like an egg or just tissue (maybe swollen tissue)?

She's standing all the time? I would definitely check the crop and feel of her abdomen below the vent between the legs.

It doesn’t sound like she is having a respiratory disease. You said she sneezed a few times one morning, and she had been fine after. I would insert a finger inside her vent and feel for a stuck egg. More like she may be suffering from a reproductive disorder, ascites (fluid in her lower belly,) or something else. Feel of her lower belly ebtween her legs and see if it is enlarged, spongy, or tight, compared to other hens. Look her over for mites or lice on the skin under her vent and elsewhere. Feel of her crop to see if it is empty or full, hard, puffy, or doughy. Give her some Poultry NutriDrench orally for electrolytes and vitamins. Offer fluids, and some chopped scrambled egg, watery feed, or foods she likes.

She is about 9 months I want to say, she laid yesterday. She hasn't been sneezing since the other day, it stopped when I put some Vet Rx on her. From what I can tell of having her inside this last little bit I have not seen any poop. I will post photos as soon as I get back from work. I didn't feel inside the vent, I read somewhere that would be able to tell from in between the legs from a group on facebook. She has been standing all morning and has yet to sit down since being in the house for the last hour.

I will check the crop when I get home also, just from looking at it, it doesn't look full. Nor did I notice any scent coming from it.

I don't know about being able to feel an egg from the outside. To check for a stuck egg, you would need to feel inside the vent about 1-2".
Feeling from the outside sometimes you can feel bloat/swelling or fluid in the abdomen.

An egg would be located up in the pelvic area like the picture shows.

To check her vent what is the proper way to do it? I would assume Vaseline would help the process? Am I feeling the top or the bottom?

Can you feel inside her vent for an egg? Glove up, use a bit of lubricant and feel about 1-2".

Is she pushing or is it her breathing? Chickens have 2 abdominal air sac, if she's in distress, it may be her working those hard.
